There are thousands of chemicals found in workplaces. Some of these are relative safe
and others are extremely dangerous. This hazard communication training course will
introduce employees to the “Right-To-Know” OSHA’s regulations
Course Description: This course will focus on the employer requirements under the
Employee Right-To-Know Hazard Communication Standard, the rights of employees
under the law, and what type of instruction employers are expected to provide.
Participants will learn about OSHA hazard communication requirements applicable OSHA
standards will be covered thoroughly. Topics include but not limited to: written plan, the
various types of chemicals found in the workplace environments, PEL, LEL, MSDS, and
warning labels, chemical inventories, Selection and use of PPE, employee training and
more. Visuals, reference materials, handouts and “hands-on” demonstrations will be
utilized in the course. This course is designed to comply with Federal Rules and
Regulations OSHA 29 CFR1910.1200 (Mandatory Training).
Method of Instruction: Power point Presentation supplemented by: Audio/Visual Aids.
