Course Title: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Course Description: This course is designed to inform employees when and how to use
personal protective equipment (PPE). The PPE covered in this class will include safety
glasses, safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, respirators, safety hats and other
protective equipment. The program will focus on selecting the appropriate PPE for the
jobs, how to use PPE, matching PPE to hazard of the job, and Material Safety Data Sheets
(MSDS). This is an OSHA mandatory class for those jobs that are required the use PPE.
Method of Instruction Power Point Presentation Supplemented by: Audio/Visual Aids.
