Course Title Prevent Workplace Violence

While workplace violence grabs the headlines, homicide is the second leading cause of
deaths on the job and the number one killer of women in the work- place. No organization,
regardless of size or type of business, is immune to workplace violence.
Course Description: This course is designed to give participants a better understanding of
what is considered workplace violence, how to recognize violence in the workplace, and
how to prevent it. The course will also focus on: warning signs, aggressive behavior,
threats and verbal abuse, sexual harassment physical, armed assailants, fostering a
positive working environment, and how to respond to threatening behaviors at work.
Method of instruction: Power point Presentation, supplemented by Audio/Visual Aids.
